Members of the House Judiciary Committee will debate two articles of impeachment Thursday against President Trump, considering amendments before voting whether to recommend that the full House approve the charges and send them to the Senate for a trial.
The articles as written accuse Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress and follow a two-and-a-half-month inquiry into efforts to pressure Ukraine to announce investigations of former vice-president Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.
