Answer: Rebuilding sense of community, restoring small businesses and jobs, public safety.

In reference to those issues you have identified, what would success look like to you in making an impact?*:

Answer: I have already seen positive change occur from my efforts. Continuing to lessen crime and clean up neglected properties would be great improvements, along with mentoring programs to encourage youth and adults to succeed. We have seen a decrease in crime. Re-filling empty store fronts.

Why are those issues important to you?*:

Answer: Having been raised and schooled in the district, I have seen the ebb and flow of the economy and the change in its ethnic make-up. There is no reason, in my eyes, why we cannot see employment opportunities return to our district and the standard of living raised for all.

At the end of your term, what would you like to have accomplished?*:

Answer: The rebuilding of sense of community, safer streets and a better business climate.

Why should people vote for you?*:

Answer: I have a track record of years of service to our residents and taxpayers. I have spent years attending our Neighborhood Watch meetings to stay aware of issues in our district. I have assisted residents by helping close a drug house, removing graffiti, removal of nuisances and abandoned cars and clean up of nuisance properties.
