In thinking about your election bid, what top three issues need to be addressed?*:
Answer: 1. Providing support and oversight to assist Western Racine County municipalities in sharing man power and resources to provide responsible and financially efficient fire and EMS services to Western Racine County. 2. Providing responsible leadership to make sure the impact development has on county-wide services is addressed and that the county provides the necessary support required by municipalities to provide services. 3. Supporting Racine County in developing new funding sources to fund crucial government services and enhance the quality of life of its citizens.
How would you plan to address those issues?*:
Answer: Supporting an initiative to study consolidation or districting of fire and EMS services in Western Racine County. Voting for directives and funding that I believe will enhance the effectiveness of the RCEDC throughout the county. Providing thoughtful consideration to development proposals and enhanced services that will improve the quality of life in Racine County. Being open and receptive to funding ideas that lessen the burden of property taxes in Racine County.
In reference to those issues you have identified, what would success look like to you in making an impact?*:
Answer: A working fire and EMS district or co-op that works well for all municipalities involved, good and well maintained infrastructure, as well as successful and well thought out new growth and development including new funding sources that allow Racine County to enhance its parks and community services.
Why are those issues important to you?*:
Answer: I believe all residents need to feel heard and that their concerns are important. Also infrastructure must be maintained or it will cost more eventually. We need to find a sustainable way to fund Fire and EMS.
At the end of your term, what would you like to have accomplished?*:
Answer: An active and thoughtful role in supporting growth and development that adds to the property tax base and enhances the quality of life of our residents, as well as ensuring local government and county services are delivered cooperatively and in a cost effective manner.

Answer: I will work hard to represent the citizens of my district and make sure that their concerns are heard at the county level.
