In thinking about your election bid, what top three issued need to be addressed?*:
Answer: Consolidation of Fire Service East of I 94, Working on existing TIF districts, Helping future developers in our Community.
How would you plan to address those issues?*:
Answer: The consolidation of the Fire Service. I would like to be a member of the negotiating team. My past experience as a Firefighter. On the TIF districts I would be looking for developers that would be interested in the TIF districts and work with them to get started. As a developer comes to our Community I would help them get started, try not to put road blocks in their way and make them successful in our Community.
In reference to those issues you have identified, what would success look like to you in making an impact?*:
Answer: The consolidation would be positive for our Community which would give us quality Fire Service at a fair price. I would like to see the TIF districts become developed. I think it is an important part of our Community. As you look around – Oak Creek, Mt. Pleasant, Raymond, Yorkville – all developing and we become an island with no development. To make sure that we can help new developers in our Community to be successful.
Why are those issues important to you?*:
Answer: The consolidation of Fire Service has been talked about for the last 18 years and it’s time to implement consolidation which would benefit all Communities. We have a number of TIF districts out there that are standing still and I would like to get them activated instead of having nothing done. I would like to see us stop putting road blocks before new and future developers and to stop being a stumbling block for them.
At the end of your term, what would you like to have accomplished?*:
Answer: That we are moving forward on consolidation of Fire service. To have a few TIF districts starting to be developed. Having a working relationship with new developers.
Why should people vote for you?*:
Answer: I bring experience to the Village Board with 20 years of service as a President, Trustee and Supervisor. I have implemented a number of contracts, water, sewer agreements and joint dispatch, border agreements with the surrounding Communities. I will continue to make sure Caledonia is in the forefront and not taken advantage of.

Answer: I have a Bachelor of Science in Fire Science Management from Southern Illinois University. I have an Associate Degree from Gateway Technical College, the Degree is of Associate of Applied Science, Fire Science.
