Where do you live? Racine
How long have you lived there? 4 years
Age? 26
Spouse or partner’s name? Morgan Bonczkowski
If you have children, please include their ages 9 months
What is your current profession? Firefighter/Paramedic
What position are you applying for? District 5 alderman
What motivated you to seek out this seat? I want to see this city grow and do right by the people who live here. I want to see more transparency in our local government.
Why do you think you are a good candidate for the job? As a firefighter, we’re trained to fix problems under incredibly high stress situation. As an alderman I hope to open the city up for business and growth of every citizen. As a father I hope to provide a brighter future.
Name three things you would like to see change with how things are being done. I would like more transparency in government, more business development, and fiscal responsibility within city hall.
What resources would you need to have to accomplish that? I believe we need a willingness to build the city up from all citizens, council members, and officials at city hall. We need good pay and benefits to bring qualified individuals to this city.
What would success look like and how would you measure that success? I would measure my personal success in a reduction in the amount of court proceedings the city is currently in. Growth through new businesses or expansion of existing business. An increase in academic scores for the city and successful graduates of RUSD.
How would you seek buy-in from either the community and/or your colleagues to accomplish those tasks? I would look for common ground solutions while limiting any increase to taxes and spending to minimum levels.
What characteristics do you bring to the table to accomplish those tasks? Professionalism and integrity from years of service in Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services. A willingness to work towards a common goal. Focus and goal driven to complete any and all tasks presented to me.
