The Racine County Wisconsin Diversity Task Force will host African American Conversations for Better Outcomes on March 26th. This event aims to address housing, transportation, justice, education, and economic challenges in Racine County.
African American Conversations for Better Outcomes is co-sponsored and hosted by:
- The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
- African American Chamber of commerce of Greater Racine
- ZOE Outreach Ministries
- Racine County
- The City of Racine
- Racine Unified School District
- Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church
The event will start at 10 a.m. and go until noon at Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church, 929 State St. The event will also take place virtually. No registration is required. The first 100 participants to arrive will receive a $25 gas/food card.
Attendees are encouraged to participate in a survey prior to attending the event. The survey will provide insight into what issues are important to Racine County residents.
