Eggstravaganza Event at the Racine Zoo on April 16 Photo provided by Racine Zoo

Somebunny at the Racine Zoo let the Racine County Eye know that there will be an eggcellent event happening on April 16. From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. the Racine Zoo will host its annual Eggstravaganza at 2131 N. Main St. This family-friendly event is offered and sponsored on behalf of SC Johnson.

The Eggstravaganza will feature a series of fun activities throughout the zoo including:

  • A hunt for Cluck-Cluck doors throughout the Zoo to collect candy
  • “Trunk Hunt,” also known as the Easter version of Trunk-or-Treat
  • Cookie decorating to go
  • Egg decorating to go
  • Crafts to go

In addition, a special bunny will be making an appearance. He will be hoppin’ down the bunny trail all the way to the Racine Zoo. For $5 you may take a photo with Peter Cottontail. Don’t forget to bring your own basket to collect goodies.

If you are looking for a hopping time and to put a little spring in your step, attend this special once-a-year event.
