Somebunny at the Racine Zoo let the Racine County Eye know that there will be an eggcellent event happening on April 16. From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. the Racine Zoo will host its annual Eggstravaganza at 2131 N. Main St. This family-friendly event is offered and sponsored on behalf of SC Johnson.
The Eggstravaganza will feature a series of fun activities throughout the zoo including:
- A hunt for Cluck-Cluck doors throughout the Zoo to collect candy
- “Trunk Hunt,” also known as the Easter version of Trunk-or-Treat
- Cookie decorating to go
- Egg decorating to go
- Crafts to go
In addition, a special bunny will be making an appearance. He will be hoppin’ down the bunny trail all the way to the Racine Zoo. For $5 you may take a photo with Peter Cottontail. Don’t forget to bring your own basket to collect goodies.
