Egg My House! The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Racine is egging houses as a way to raise funds. This unique fundraising opportunity allows Relay For Life Racine volunteers the chance to deliver candy-filled eggs to porches across Racine County, just in time for Easter! 100% of the proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Racine.
In 2021, Relay For Life of Racine raised $160, 937.83 to benefit the American Cancer Society. The goal for 2022 is to raise $150,000. Currently, $24,492.90 has been raised. The Egg My House fundraiser will contribute to the goal and helping to eliminate cancer.
“Fundraising for Relay For Life not only takes place at our event, it is a year-round effort. Each day, community members from Racine work hard to raise critical funds for the life-saving mission of the American Cancer Society. There are opportunities throughout the year for us to make a difference in the fight against cancer, and have fun throughout the Racine community!” says Maddie Petre, a Relay for Life Racine Leadership Team Member. She adds, “the Egg My House fundraiser is a great way for us to engage the community, create memories for families, promote our upcoming event, and raise money for the Relay For Life of Racine.”
For this event, delivery is available in Racine County. This includes east of I-94, Raymond, Yorkville and Union Grove. Relay For Life Racine is unable to deliver to nursing homes.
