Structure Fire Report
The Racine Fire Department responded at 12:40 a.m. Friday to a report of a structure fire at a boarded-up warehouse in the 1400 block of Junction Avenue. Battling the blaze took place primarily from the outer perimeter because of questions about the structure’s stability and the flammability of the contents, which included party supplies like tents, bouncy houses, chairs, and tables.
A total of 21 firefighters and eight vehicles were part of the initial response. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
