Love winter soups? Check out this recipe for white bean chili.

UW-Extension provides a slow cooker recipe that can be completed in five steps. Not only is white bean chili easy to put together, but it’s a filling meal that is delicious right out of the cooker, or reheated as leftovers.

This January, the white bean chili can be your go-to lunch or dinner. It may take three-and-a-half hours to make, but little preparation and tending to the dish is needed. It’s a versatile chili as substitutions can be made and other items can be incorporated. Try substituting quinoa, buckwheat or brown rice for the millet for a fun twist.

Give this a try for a warm and filling lunch or dinner.
