Obituary for Larry Michael Boeselager

March 31, 1956 – April 23, 2023

Larry Michael Boeselager, age 67, passed away at Aurora Medical Center on Sunday, April 23, 2023, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.

Larry was born in West Bend, Wis., on March 31, 1956, to Jack and Irene (nee: Krueger) Boeselager. He graduated from Horlick High School in 1974. Larry received an associate’s degree from MATC-Milwaukee.

Larry worked at US Can for 25 years. He recently retired from CBS 58. Larry enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing and fishing. His most recent hobby was making fishing jigs just for fun. He especially looked forward to fishing trips up north with his son, Tim.

Surviving are his son, Timothy; partner in life, JoAnne Galica; mother, Irene Boeselager; sisters and brothers, Linda Boeselager, Bruce Boeselager, Scott (Mary Beth) Boeselager, and Sherry (Brian) Irek; extended family, Sharon Galica, Mark (Kathleen) Galica, Dawn (John) Rumbaugh, and Scott (Kathy) Galica; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends, too numerous to mention. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Jack Boeselager; sister, Bonnie Stemplewski; and Jacob Galica.

Services

Services celebrating Larry’s life will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
