Obituary for John E. Bohn Sr.
January 4, 1952 – May 5, 2023
John E. Bohn Sr., 71, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
John was born on Jan. 4, 1952, in Baltimore, Md. to Murray and Charlotte (nee: Charlton) Bohn. He was united in marriage to Donna Thielen on Aug. 17, 1974.
John worked for Ganton Tech for 10 years and Diversified Technologies for two years. He attended Merganthaler Vocational Technical High School, then served in the military for over 17 years.
John enjoyed traveling with his wife, bowling, hunting, fishing, and sport boating.
He will be missed by his wife, Donna; children, Kelly (Dustin) Hollingsworth, and John E. Bohn II; sister, Susan Wolff; brothers-in-law, Dwayne Simmons and John Fritzes; and other family members and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joey Bohn and Jimmy Bohn; brother-in-law, Leonard Wolff; and sisters, Mary Jane and Karen Fritzer.
Services
He will be laid to rest at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 1 p.m.
