Obituary for Dean Alan Petrowsky
August 31, 1964 – May 15, 2023
Dean Alan Petrowsky, 58, went to the arms of his Eternal Father on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Dean served in the United States Army from 1981 to 1984 and was an Army Reservist until his honorable discharge in 1987.
Dean leaves behind his beloved son, Jacob; his life-long love, Linda; special friend, Robert Johnson; his mother, Beverly; brothers, Ernest (Gail) Petrowsky Jr. and Dale (Sue) Petrowsky; sisters, Cammie (Joe) Montano and Dede (Cesar) Lopez. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews who carry Dean in their hearts.
Dean is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Petrowsky Sr., his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several relatives and friends.
Services
A visitation for Dean will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on June 5 at Purath-Strand Funeral Home. Private interment with full military honors will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family have been suggested.
