Obituary for Chantile Desiree White

April 10, 1976 – June 26, 2023

Chantile Desiree White, 47, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away in Springfield, Ill. on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born in Racine, Wis. on April 10, 1976, to the late Charlene (Walls) Fatheree and Charles White Jr.

Chantile received her education in Racine at J.I. Case High School. After graduating, she had two daughters before moving to Milwaukee, where she had two sons. Chantile enjoyed braiding, cooking, and hosting family gatherings. Some of her favorite pastimes included baking, doing crosswords, and solving puzzles.

Chantile is survived by her four children: Jamesha Lockridge of Racine, Vaquoia Lockridge of Milwaukee, James McCray Jr. of Birmingham, Ala., and Sabastian Hamm of Springfield, Ill.; three grandchildren: Terry Quinn III, Talena Quinn, and Tierre McFarland all of Racine; seven stepchildren, twelve step-grandchildren; one sister, Kisha White (Barry) of Milwaukee; one brother, James White(Kelly) of Appleton, Wis., and one stepbrother, David Fatheree Jr. (Keyanna).

She was fond of her loving stepchildren, Stevenson Hamm III, Ziemma Hamm, Sasha Hamm and James Hamm; two special cousins, Georgeann Pearson and Celeste Turner; her first two best friends, Kearn Roberson and Victoria (Andy) Boatner; her bonus daughter, Danesha Vance; her favorite aunty, Cynthia White; and uncle, Darryl Walls; and her special sisters-in-law, Halena Jennings (Dolla Bill) and Taryn Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene (Walls) Fatheree; her father, Charles White Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Lena Evans and William Walls Sr.; her paternal grandparents, Arlethia White and Charles White Sr.; her loving brother, William (Dolla) White Jr.; her aunties, Linda Abbott and Lucinda White; and her uncle, George Kelly Pearson.

Chantile will be truly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones, especially her children and grandchildren.

Services

Family and friends of Chantile Desiree White are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, July 15, 2023, for a visitation from 10-11 a.m. A service celebrating her life and Homegoing will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Frank James officiating.
