Obituary for Evangeline Sharon Rios-Roberts, ‘Angie’
August 28, 1954 – July 26, 2023
Mrs. Evangeline Sharon Rios-Roberts, “Angie,” 68, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, with her loved ones by her side. Born in Detroit, Mich. on Aug. 28, 1954, to Jesus and Conception Rios.

Angie worked at Racine Unified School District for 19 dedicated years, where she worked from kindergarten through 12th grade and was loved by many students who looked up to her as a mother figure. She also waitressed at Meadows Restaurant in Franksville to help provide for her loving family.
On Sept. 21, 1982, Angie met the love of her life Barry Roberts, and they had 41 wonderful years together by each other’s side. Together they had three amazing sons, Robert, Michael and David to complete their family. As years passed, she welcomed three daughters-in-law, Tiffany, Heather and Chie into her beloved family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her grandkids, Alexsis, Alicia, Makayla, Vala, Sydney, Casey, Isis, Carter, and Siris.
Angie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family as well as traveling around Wisconsin, including the Wisconsin Dells, and festivals with her husband Barry Roberts for weekend getaways, and enjoying retirement. Her kids and grandchildren were truly her world and she loved being in the presence of her family. She enjoyed watching Dirty Dancing and Grease, making sure everyone knew when the Charlie Brown holiday specials were on and Lifetime Movie Network.
You could always count on her to give you an encouraging word and be there when you needed her the most. She had a strong faith and knew that Jesus was there by her side every day of her loving life. She was a selfless woman that donated to Shriners Children’s Hospital as she had a heart and passion for children and wanted to help those in need.
Angie will truly be missed as she has made a significant impression on all of those she has met. We know she is looking down upon us as our guardian angel and will forever be a part of our lives and in our hearts.
