Obituary for Glen G. Caskey
October 7, 1931 – July 29, 2023
Glen G. Caskey, age 91, passed away on July 29, 2023, at Villa at Lincoln Park. He was born in Racine on Oct. 7, 1931, the son of the late Harry and Lottie (née Spencer) Caskey.
On July 27, 1988, Glen was united in marriage to Rose Marie Wood. He was employed by American Motors, Chrysler Corporation. Glen enjoyed playing cards and testing his luck at the casino. Above all, it was time spent with his grandchildren that he cherished most.
He was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie, of 35 years; children, Glen (Donna) Caskey, and Rita Wood; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Warren (Barbara) Caskey and Roger (Kathy) Caskey; sisters, Dorie Rodema, Donna Harknes, Florence Harris, and Judy (Gene) Hulsey; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Susie) Wood and Charles (DeMary) Wood; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin, Lloyd, Jerry, William and Donald; sisters, Grace, Virginia and Sharon.
Services
A funeral service celebrating Glen’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at the Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for visitation on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Private interment will be held in Milston, WI.
