A 24-year-old Racine man was killed following in a one-car crash that happened at 2:49 a.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of 12th St.

Investigators with the Racine Police Department learned that the man, who was driving his car eastbound on 12th St., crashed into a parked car and struck a tree.

The impact of the crash caused severe damage to the car. The man was taken to the emergency room at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints, then transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

He died earlier this morning, but Racine Police have not released his name.

Police are still on scene investigating the crash.
