A man wanted for an alleged homicide in Beloit has been taken into custody.

Racine police Sgt. Jessie Metoyer said officers received word from Beloit police that JaJuan Logan, 20, of Beloit, was at a residence here. Police monitored the home and observed him leaving the home Wednesday night in an attempt to leave the area.

Deputies with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop and took Logan into custody,

The Beloit homicide occurred Friday and BPD officers alerted RPD that Logan was the prime suspect and possibly in Racine.

Logan was in the Racine County Jail Thursday afternoon on an active warrant for 1st degree intentional homicide.

Angelo Young, 31, also of Beloit, is also wanted for his involvement in the crime and was still at large as of Thursday evening, according to a press release from Beloit police as posted on Racine Uncovered.
