Racine police say three people were shot Friday night in the Bray Center after a fight erupted in the center during a private event.

Officers were dispatched at 11:15 p.m. Friday to the 900 block of Center Street for reports of shots fired inside the Bray Center. When police arrived, there were three people wounded; a 16-year-old girl, a a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man.

They were transported to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s for treatment of their injuries. Flight for Life took the juvenile female to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.

Video posted on Facebook from inside the Bray Center after the incident depicts a person on the floor in front of the stage surrounded by police and another person down on the other side of the gym also surrounded by officers. There are several women seated on the stage crying, and someone else can be heard saying one of the victims was shot in the leg.

A press release issued by the police department Saturday morning does not indicate if anyone is in custody but says investigators are actively working the incident.
