Nonprofit Mission and Vision Statements

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) advances equity for all women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.

Please provide a paragraph or so about what your organization does in the community. Include any recent achievements, projects, and goals.

By joining AAUW, you belong to a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance. Membership in AAUW is open to women and men holding an associate, bachelor or an advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. The Racine branch supports education by offering local scholarships to Racine County women, supporting national fellowships and by being active in local STEM and other activities.

What would you like the general public to know about your organization and ways they can help/support you?

Our largest fundraisers are used book sales which are held in the spring and again in the fall at the lower level of CVS Pharmacy on West Blvd. in Racine. Donations of books are always welcome. Email aauwracine@hotmail.com for more information.
