Local medical device manufacturer Ad-Tech Medical is pulling up its Racine roots and relocating to a new business park in Oak Creek.

The company is currently located at 1901 William Street on the city’s north side.

Ad-Tech purchased a 4.8-acre site in the park and plans to move its operations – including 90 jobs – to the new Oak Creek location, a story in the Milwaukee Business Journal reads.

The company produces “intra-cranial monitoring devices (“electrodes”) for the treatment of intractable epilepsy as well as complimentary neurosurgical instrumentation,” its website reads.

Ad-Tech’s new digs will measure some 30,000 square feet and will include temperature controls, a clean room and humidity controls, the story continues. Construction is expected to last almost a year and get underway later this summer.
