… we have a small favor to ask. Thousands of people have placed their trust in the Racine County Eye’s high-impact journalism because we focus on solutions-based journalism.
With no shareholders or billionaire owners, we can provide trustworthy journalism that focuses on helping readers.
Unlike many others, Racine County Eye’s journalism is available for everyone to read, regardless of what they can afford to pay. We do this because we believe in information equality. Greater numbers of people can keep track of events, understand their impact on people and communities, and become inspired to take meaningful action.
If there were ever a time to join us, it is now. Every contribution, however big or small, powers our journalism and sustains our future. Support the Racine County Eye from as little as $5 – it only takes a minute. Thank you.
These adorable babies need a foster home! Eva and Anastasia are only 5 weeks old and are too young to move into the adoption program so they need a foster home until they’re old enough for their fur-ever families.
To learn more about what it means to be a foster parent to animals in need, the Racine campus of the Wisconsin Humane Society is holding a foster open house from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.
Are you interested in learning more about what it means to become a foster parent for animals in need? Learn about the foster process, enjoy refreshments and meet some wonderful animals at a foster open house on Saturday, February 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. WHS staff will be available to answer your questions and get you signed up if you decide fostering is right for you. If you can’t make the open house, feel free to give WHS a call at 262-554-6699 to arrange a time for a one-on-one orientation, or just stop in to learn more! This event is held at the WHS Racine Campus, 2706 Chicory Road, Racine. RSVPs at wihumane.org are appreciated but not necessary.
