No one was injured in a garage fire that happened at 8:13 p.m. Thursday at a residence located at 2505 Washington Avenue.

The cause of the fire, however, is still under investigation, according to a press release by the Racine Fire Department.

The fire started in the alley behind the garage. When firefighters arrived, they were able to put the fire out quickly. Officials set the estimated loss at $2,000.

Anyone with information about this fire is asked to call Racine Fire Department investigators at 635-7915.
