Officials with the company will presented plans at a plan commission meeting last week where they asked for the land use plan to be amended and for the property to be rezoned.
About 17 acres of the property is designated on the land use plan as medium density residential and zoned business district, general farming and residential district. The company is expected ask for it to be changed to commercial and for it to be rezoned to a highway business district.
The matter will be discussed at the Village Board meeting, which will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the East Side Community Center, 6156 Douglas Ave.
