The Racine Zoo, 2131 N. Main St., will be hosting their 2nd annual Animal Crackers Junior concert series this summer. The concert series will take place just north of downtown Racine at the zoo’s amphitheater, overlooking the beautiful lakefront.
Tickets are $10 per person, for each concert, in advance, and are $15 at the gate. Admission for
children two years old and younger are free.
The concert series will consist of two concerts that will feature top kids’ music artists from around the country. Each event date will run from 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. with the concerts starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 15 and Friday, August 12, 2022.
Families are welcome to attend the event and bring lawn chairs and blankets. Guests are welcome to set up anywhere they desire on the lawn in front of the stage. Guest can distance themselves and choose their spot as they please.
The event will feature lawn games and also crafts. The families in attendance will have a plethora of activities to enjoy before the music performances begin. Across from the amphitheater’s lawn, there will be food and beverage options available for purchase.
During the concert, the performers will keep children focused and entertained for an evening by the lake. This kid’s concert is also entertaining for adults. The Racine Zoo states that “artists will frequently walk through the crowd and engage with the audience, keeping the event at a high-energy level all night long.”

July 15 Concert
The Chicago Honey Bear Dancers will kick off the concert series on Friday, July 15. Their night at
the Zoo will include a variety songs and dance show. It will also include a kids dance workshop and a
meet and greet including an autograph session post-show. The world-famous Chicago Honey Bear Dancers perform a spectacular, high-energy song & dance show featuring a superstar singer from American Idol and popular hits from the 1950s to today.
The Kids Dance Workshop focuses onn anti-bullying. Guests can learn popular dance moves from seasoned professionals. They will share the important message of “Be a BUDDY not a bully”. Chicago
Honey Bear Dancers encourage kids to experience the fun, the teamwork, and the lessons this
anti-bullying dance workshop has to offer. Chicago Honey Bear Dancers’ mission is to inspire,
educate, and enable creativity within the dance world.
August 12 Concert
On Friday, August 12, Juggler Jason Kollum will be opening for Miss Jamie’s Farm. Miss
Jamie from the Farm will take children and their families on an imaginative musical adventure to
her “farm,” where they learn values like hard work, healthy eating, and being kind to animals
and each other. She will have help from her farm animal puppets. The show will feature songs both familiar and new. Miss Jamie’s Farm kids’ music show will leave everyone stomping their boots and hollering for more fruits and veggies!
Following Miss Jamie’s Farm kids’ music show, Jason Kollum’s Rock n’ Roll Variety Juggling Show will take the stage. The performance is high-energy with lots of laughs along with tons of audience participation. Everyone will have the chance to get involved. The performance features huge
