Tragedy struck on Monday when Anthony Azarian died due to a construction accident. Now friends are organizing a fundraiser.
The unfortunate incident occurred when the skid-steer Azarian was operating, fell down a 7-story elevator shaft. This accident has left two young children, a 4-year-old and a newborn, without their father. Sammy D’Alie has set up a fundraiser on Facebook for the children and if you cannot donate, they are asking for love and support during this time.
“He had a soft heart. It was hard not to love him,” told Anthony’s father, Sam Azarian, to Fox 6.
Anthony loved hunting and wrestling. He had also just become a father for the second time, just days before the skid steer he was operating inside a building at 37th Street and Wisconsin Avenue crashed.
“He was using the skid steer to pull on a wall when the wall gave way, and Azarian went down the elevator shaft from the top story with the skid steer and the wall,” according to a story by the Journal Times.
