Racine Unified School District board member Chris Eperjesy resigned his position earlier this month and the board of education needs to now fill his vacant spot.

Residents may now submit their names for consideration.

Eperjesy resigned earlier this month after leaving his position as vice president of finance and treasurer at Racine-based Twin Disc Inc. for a chief financial officer position at Minnesota-based Arctic Cat Inc.

Eperjesy’s term is up in April 2016.

The Racine Unified School District Board of Education will appoint a person to fill Eperjesy’s spot on or about March 16, according to a press release. Residents interested in the job can submit their names for consideration to a current board member or by calling (262) 664-8715.
