Racine police are asking for help apprehending the two suspects who robbed the Asian Buffet Restaurant Wednesday at gunpoint.

RPD Sgt. Jessie Metoyer confirmed with Racine County Eye that two male suspects wearing masks entered the restaurant, 3701 Durand Avenue, at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register.

Both suspects emptied the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money, she added.

The incident did take place while the restaurant was open and diners were present.

“(This is) still under investigation.  No one injured and no arrests have been made,” Metoyer said.
