Racine Unified is reminding parents who drop their students off and students who walk to school to be aware of construction this week at the intersection of Oakes Road and Washington Avenue.
Work started Friday to improve the turn lane on northbound Oakes Road to westbound Washington Avenue. Crews are expected to wrap up this Friday, Oct. 9, work that includes extending the turn lane to alleviate congestion.
“Case High School parents and students please be aware of this construction and how it will affect your commute in the morning. Please plan accordingly,” a note on the RUSD website reads.
