Another person has been charged with fraud after she exploited a loophole in the Educators Credit Union mobile banking system. Macnesha Broadnax, 20, is charged with fraud against a financial institution for the fraud scheme allegedly perpetrated in September 2015, according to a criminal complaint by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office. Over the course of four days, Broadnax deposited four bogus checks. And each day, after depositing the check using mobile banking, she withdrew $500 from a branch in Milwaukee. The credit union lost $1,794.4 in the transaction.
