RAYMOND – No one was injured in a barn fire Monday that required help from several surrounding fire departments to put out.

The blaze started at 8:47 p.m. in the 3500 block of 51 St., according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

When the Racine County Sheriff’s Department got to the scene, the barn was fully engulfed in flames. No animals were inside the barn during the fire. But the Raymond Fire Department had to call in mutual aid from a number of other departments.

The barn, farm equipment, supplies from a gutter company and hay were a total loss.

Officials have not determined the cause of the fire. They are still investigating it.
