A Racine man was arrested this Monday for a Dec. 2016 incident where he beat someone with an aluminum baseball bat.
Victor D. Colon, 20, assaulted a man on the 1200 block of Superior Street for reasons unknown to police, according to a criminal complaint by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office.
Colon allegedly walked up to the victim and hit him in the nose and abdomen with the bat knocking him unconscious. When the victim woke up, Colon was punching him in the face.
The victim told police he and Colon “had been on bad terms,” but he thought they had “‘squashed it,” according to the criminal complaint.
Colon is charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct.
