Betty Jean Valente (Nee: Porcaro) of Scottsdale, Arizona-Formerly of Racine, Betty Jean has been lovingly reunited, dancing again in heaven with her husband of 51 years, Frank, on April 17, 2018 at the age of 93.
Born September 25, 1924 to the late Fiore and Barbara Porcaro. Preceded in death by brothers Herman, Frank, Tony, Earl and Joe, sisters Rose, Mary Matagrano, Grace Mascari, Louise Young, and Lucille Brusha.
She leaves behind daughters Maureen (Tom) Lizdas, Karen (Bob) Adams and Pattie (Steve) Brusko, grandchildren, Tracy, Krystle, Bobby and Ryan and great-grandchildren Holly, Savannah, Greyson, and Asher. Also, sister-in-law Josie Porcaro and many nieces and nephews.
She loved to golf and was a member of the Meadowbrook and Kenosha Country Clubs. Betty will be fondly remembered for her delicious Italian meals where no one ever left hungry and her wonderful smile. She will be missed by all.
Visitation at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home on Su2 p.m. until 4 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park.
