Betty A. Seeton, 88, passed away on Wednesday at the Claridge House in Kenosha. She was born in Waupaca, Wisconsin on July 13, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Nee: Paronto) Redmann.
On June 22, 1954 in San Diego, California she was united in marriage to Raymond T. Seeton who preceded her in death on December 22, 2004. Betty was employed by Racine Unified School District as a school bus driver for sixteen years. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. More than anything she devoted and cherished time with her family.
She will be dearly missed by her eight children, Marla (Steven) Crotteau, Clifton (Ruby) Seeton, all of Racine, Debra (Pete) Blake of Pittsburgh, PA, Sandra (Bruce) Knorr of Racine, Michael Seeton of Phoenix, AZ, Thomas (Susan) Seeton of Reeseville, WI, Catherine Seeton of Racine, Julia Seeton of Fort Wayne, IN; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Beverly Barkdull; brother, William Redmann; and sisters, Bernice Van Cuyk and Dorothy Schlinkert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
