Residents reported hearing eight to nine gun shots in the are of 17th Street and Memorial Drive at about 4:56 p.m., Sunday according to scanner reports.

Witnesses reported seeing a man dressed in all black and an old Crown Victoria with four people inside of it. Officers have a car stopped near the area. No word on whether there were any injuries.

Racine Police are on scene investigating the incident. The area around 11th Street and Lockwood Avenue, and the 1500 block of Packard has been blocked off at about 5:02 p.m. At least one home was struck by a bullet, according to scanner traffic.
