Investigators with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department have released a photo of a person suspected of making a bomb threat Monday morning at the Racine County Courthouse, 730 Wisconsin Ave.

Following the threat, which was made from a payphone in the 1300 block of Lathrop Avenue, the Racine County Courthouse was evacuated and shutdown at 8:27 a.m. Monday. It remained closed until 1 p.m. as deputies and investigators with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department searched the building. Investigators are working on finding out who made the threat.

Making a bomb thread is a felony, which carries up to a three year six months prison sentence and/or fines up to $10,000.
