A Racine man and woman are charged with burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a child – among other offenses – for their alleged involvement in a Wednesday incident in Caledonia.

Falensia D. Rodriguez, 20, and Alontay M. Webb, 18, were arrested after Caledonia officers were sent to a reported burglary in progress in the 1600 block of Oak Lawn Drive. The complainant told dispatch he was following the suspect vehicle. Officers made contact in the parking lot at Green Tree Plaza, at the northeast corner of 4 Mile Road and Douglas Avenue.

Rodriguez was driving the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint, and Alontay Webb was the front seat passenger. A 12-year-old child was in the back seat.

The complaining witness told police he had come home to find the suspect vehicle in his driveway, the complaint states. He heard the door connecting the garage and house open, and then saw a male subject run back into his house. The man said he got his children back into his own car, saw the male subject get into the Buick, and then followed the other car as it drove away.

Rodriguez is charged with burglary, contributing to the delinquency of a child, aiding a felon, four counts of felony bail jumping – all felonies – and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.

Webb is charged with burglary, contributing to the delinquency of a child and criminal trespass.

Both are in custody on a $50,000 bond.
