American Society for Quality – Racine, Kenosha, Walworth section will host a meeting about employee retention strategies for businesses on Feb. 6 at the Charcoal Grill, 8300 Washington Ave. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m. Jeff Kortes, Principal, Human Asset Management LLC, will talk about how to keep your good people, and help your company keep you starting at 6 p.m. The impact of losing key performers on your business is never small, not including the cost of recruitment and time to (more or less) replace that key performance. Based on his book No Nonsense Retention…Painless Strategies to Retain Your Best People, Jeff provides insight into the thoughts and reasoning of employees who are contemplating leaving their jobs. The event is free as the expense are covered by ASQ Section 1204.  A copy of Jeff’s book will be given to each person who attends. To make a reservation, email to Jay Warner, at quality@a2q.com
