Looking for something fun to do with the kids today?

The Caledonia Fire Department is hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at station 12, 6040 Douglas Ave.

The public is invited to meet firefighters, take photos of the fire equipment, and tour the station. Children will learn about smoke and fire safety. Refreshments will be served.

The event is being held in conjunction with Fire Safety Week.
