Downtown Racine to host 3rd annual Kris Kringle Tour
December 12 @ 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Join us for our 3rd annual Kris Kringle Tour on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This is a free event hosted by the Downtown Racine Corporation, O&H Danish Bakery, and Mt.
Royal Investment Group. Celebrate Racine’s legacy as the kringle capital of the world by
sampling different kringle flavors at over 20 downtown locations.
“The Kris Kringle Tour is the perfect way to spend a day with family and friends, all while
supporting our small businesses and celebrating Racine’s legacy as the Kringle capital of the
world.” said Kelly Kruse, Executive Director at the Downtown Racine Corporation.
While downtown you are encouraged to grab some breakfast, lunch, coffee or a drink and see
first-hand why Downtown Racine is magical this time of year. This is another great opportunity
to get a gift for everyone on your list, all while supporting local businesses who need your
support now more than ever before.
“Racine loves its Kringle! That’s because the people of Racine learned before any others that
Kringle, the sharing pastry, makes any size gathering better. Here at O&H, we are honored to
bake our Kringle for you to enjoy with others.” said Eric Olesen, owner of O&H Bakery.
Kris Kringle maps are available at racinedowntown.com, on the Downtown Facebook page
(@racinedowntown). or can be picked up at the Downtown Racine Corporation office (425 Main
St.) beginning Dec. 4.
While you’re strolling through downtown don’t forget to vote in the Holiday Window Decorating
Competition. Downtown merchants have done an amazing job making their storefronts look like
whimsical winter wonderlands. Voting will take place in-store or on our Facebook page, where
you can you ‘like’ your favorites. The contest will end on Dec. 20.
Metered parking will be free all day. Parking times will be enforced to ensure the turnover of
spaces. Excludes all ramps with gates and Lakefront Lot.
