The NAACP WI chapter has sponsored the program, Coal Blooded Clean Air Webinar: Equity and the Environment. The event will take place on Saturday, October 24 from 7 to 9 PM CT. There is registration for the online event.

Above all, the Clean Air webinar is about climate justice based on the NAACP’s Coal Blooded Report. Further, the National NAACP Senior Director, Jacqueline Patterson, and Denise Abdul-Rahman, Regional Field Organizer Environmental and Climate Justice Program are presenting the program.

The focus is Greater Milwaukee County and the coal dust affecting people around the coal-fired power plants in Oak Creek. Additionally, for all those who live along the railway tracks through the city of Racine.
