The Microaggression Game Training

April 10 @ 10:00 AM - April 24 @ 12:00 PM

The Racine Women for Racial Injustice presents the Microaggression Game Training.

The Microaggression Game Training provides people with power privilege and marginalized identities with tools to intervene in racist interactions.

Training sessions will take place on Saturdays in April. Further, April 10, 17, and 24 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This team-based experience builds an understanding of the powerful impact microaggressions have on marginalized people. Through scenario-based learning, participants develop an understanding of how marginalized people might interpret, internalize, and react to slights and insults. Also, participants receive strategies for intervening in microaggressive interactions and support for creating equitable spaces for marginalized people. The microaggression game is easy to understand and simple to play – but hard to forget.
