Explore the wonderful world of resins as you create wearable art. Learn the basics such as embedding small two- and three-dimensional objects into frames, tinting, and adding sparkle and iridescence. New in this class: fill and take home a small mold.
($25 Resin supply kit included)
Students must supply: Wax paper, ruler, pencil, rubbing alcohol, masking tape, scissors, cup for water, paper towels, box with cover, table cloth, lighter, a warming tray or cup warmer. Optional: your own paper, charms, glitter, small objects, 1-2″ copied photographs, dried flowers, shells, tiny pebbles, to supplement what is in the kit.
Resin Packets include:
- Pendant trays
- Silicone mold
- 2 cords
- Paper and charms
- Mod podge
- Resin 4oz
- Wood stir /toothpicks/cups
- Cardboard squares
- Miscellaneous dried spices, glitter
Resin supply packets will be available for pick up on August 25th and 26th, from 12:00 – 5:00 pm, at RAM’s Wustum Museum, 2519 Northwestern Avenue. Please call 262.636.9177 when you arrive, and staff will bring the packet out to your car.
