Try your luck under the water, catch some laughs or go for a party night. It’s all happening in Racine County this weekend. Real Racine has some suggestions.

Beads, party, repeat. Mardi-Crawl, the 14th annual winter party, is Saturday night in Downtown Racine. Just $3 lets you ride the shuttle buses among 13 participating nightspots from 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Food and drink specials and a chance to win $2,000 in cash and merchandise prizes. Visit at least six locations to be entered in the grand prize drawing set for 8 p.m. on Fat Tuesday (Feb. 9) at Ivanhoe Pub & Eatery.

For the kids. The favorite tale of “Pinocchio” will be presented by the Racine Children’s Theatre Friday through Sunday at the Racine Theatre Guild stage, 2519 Northwestern Ave. The wooden puppet encounters all kinds of characters as he learns the value of work and family. The show is performed by the Horlick Theatre Arts. All seats are $6. Performances are at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 12, 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. An evening of laughs. Comedian Andy Woodhull has been called a comedian to watch by the Chicago Tribune. He’ll be sharing his very funny view of the world as part of the Comedy Tonight Series at the Racine Theatre Guild stage, 2519 Northwestern Ave. Show time is 8 p.m. Admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $13 for students. Under the ice. Racine’s ReefPoint Marina, 2 Christopher Columbus Causeway, will be an ice fishing hotspot on Saturday. Salmon Unlimited’s 2016 Racine Trout Ice Derby runs from 6:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Registration is $20 per person for a chance to win cash and merchandise prizes. Sign up for PEEPs. Entries are being accepted for the Racine Art Museum’s 7th Annual International PEEPs Art competition. Two- and three-dimensional art works are made of PEEPs candies. The deadline is 4 p.m. Sunday, March 4. The exhibition runs from March 17 through April 3. For details, visit
