Officers on Wednesday were flagged down after school in the 2400 block of Hansen Avenue for a report of child enticement.
According to witnesses, a child was walking home from Fratt School, 3501 Kinzie Ave., when they were approached by a white male driving a dark blue van. The driver asked the child if they “wanted a ride,” but the child ran home and immediately informed a parent.
The driver was last seen going east on Kinzie, and was described as a white male in his late teens or early 20s.
