Christmas is on the way! There is still time to see Santa and visit a live Nativity scene. Have holiday fun with Real Racine.

Santa’s listening. If you haven’t seen Santa Claus, he’s at Regency Mall, 5538 Durand Ave., for just a few more days. Santa’s big red chair is near the Boston Store court area. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday (Christmas Eve). Visit www.shopregency-mall.com/holiday

Have a cookie. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for a story and cookies this Friday at the Racine Masonic Center, 1012 Main St. The cost is $8 per person. Times are 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Advance reservations are required. 262-308-3500.

The Christmas story. A local Christmas tradition marks 60 years this week. The Live Nativity scene at First Church of God, 1650 Lathrop Ave., is Thursday and Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Volunteers from the church with live sheep and donkeys will be in a stable outside the church for the telling of the Christmas story every half hour. Visitors are welcome to stop inside the church for hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. www.fcogracine.com

Christmas Eve. Everyone is welcome to “Christmas in the Barn” held Saturday (Christmas Eve) at the John and Cindy Squire Farm, 26715 Church Road, Dover (use Burlington for your GPS setting). This annual presentation is by members of the English Settlement United Methodist Church. The service is every half hour between 5 and 8:30 p.m.
