UPDATE: The City of Racine Common Council will discuss the four projects at its next meeting on Tuesday.
RACINE – Four multi-family development projects, including the old Horlick Malted Milk factory and Ajax/Walker Manufacturing site, are on the agenda for the loan board of review on Thursday.
- Lutheran Social Services on behalf of its project Gold Medal Lofts is requesting a $1.3 million loan.
- St. Paul Commons, a project for St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, is seeking a $350,000 loan.
- Cardinal Capital, which owns the old Ajax Plant, is requesting a loan of $600,000.
- J. Jeffers and Co., which owns the old Horlick Malted Milk Factory, is seeking a $250,000 loan.
