Drivers traveling near Interstate 94 who use Highway 20 will need to be aware of road closures happening Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

As part of the Wisconsin Highway 20 reconstruction project, construction crews will need to pour concrete for the Interstate 94 east (southbound) bridge over Highway 20 and that will result in some closures on Highway 20.

The section of Highway 20 between the frontage roads near I- 94 will be shutdown to traffic from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 through 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. The I-94 west (northbound) exit and east (southbound) exit ramps will also be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 through 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12.

Motorists can use County Highway C, 58th Road, and the frontage roads as detours around the closures.

The entrance onto I-94 from Highway 20 will also be shutdown to traffic from 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 through 5 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12. The detour route is the east frontage road going north to Highway K to get access to I-94 west (northbound).
