Charges were filed by the Racine County District Attorney’s Office against a Racine woman for causing a hit and run crash that resulted in a car hitting a home in the 1000 block of North Memorial Drive.

Tatianna J. Everett, 30, was driving the van in April that went through a stop sign and hit another vehicle. She quickly spoke to the other occupants then fled on foot, according to a criminal complaint.

She was later identified as the driver after her mother called to ask police if she could retrieve some things from the vehicle.

An arrest warrant was issued on Thursday for Everett, who is listed as being homeless. She is charged with hit and run, and hit and run causing injury.
