Racine police are asking for anyone who was in the vicinity of 4100 block of 17th Street on June 22 and/or early June 23 to help them find a male robbery suspect.
Officers were called June 23 by a person who reported being robbed the night before. The victim told police they were exiting their car when a black male approached them and forced the door open. The suspect hit and kicked the person in the face before fleeing with the victim’s phone, keys and wallet.
Police say the victim did sustain injuries from the attack and could only say the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
Anyone with information about this attack – especially anyone who was in the area that day – can leave an ANONYMOUS tip with Crime Stoppers at (888) 636-9330, web: http://racine.crimestoppersweb.com, or text message: RACS to 274637(crimes).
